Student Work Program:
The Student Work Program is designed to help students whose parents need assistance with Boylan tuition. In this program, students earn money which is applied directly to their tuition. General work duties consist of assisting the maintenance department with cleaning classrooms, housekeeping, inventory, landscaping, moving tables and chairs, and other similar tasks. Students have the ability to work year-round if their schedule allows.
- Students will not receive a paycheck. Money earned will be credited to their tuition according to their hours worked at the current minimum wage rate. Work credits are applied monthly to SMART Tuition by the 苹果彩票pg59's bookkeeper. Credits are applied based on the tuition payment plan (i.e. if the student is on the monthly tuition payment plan, credits earned will be allocated over monthly tuition payments).
- During the 苹果彩票pg59 year, students are able to work immediately following the 苹果彩票pg59 day for 1-2 hours. Students may not participate on days they have after 苹果彩票pg59 activities.
- During the summer, the work schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm daily. No work on July 4.
- Depending on the number of students signed up for summer work, students will work in one of two or three shifts, with days to be determined.
- Students under the age of 16 will need a valid work permit. A separate form is available and needs to be completed prior to work.
- Students not showing up for work or not reasonably completing their assigned job assignments will be dismissed from the program.
